Secret Handshake is a duo comprised of New Orleans-based Nile Ashton and now DC-based Lady Lavender. In 2019, they launched their collaborative project as an event series, merging their love for dance, visual art, and forward-thinking electronic music. Secret Handshake has evolved to continue pushing the envelope of the New Orleans' underground: faster, heavier, and uncompromising in their curation.
